Academic Affairs

The mission of the Office of Academic Affairs is to support faculty and academic staff in their efforts to educate students to shape culture through the practice and critical study of the arts. It is dedicated to improving educational resources across the college, working closely with deans, program chairs, faculty, instructional support areas, and the Office of Student Affairs to enhance student learning.


As the chief academic officer of the college who leads the Academic Affairs staff in support of CCA’s diverse programs, Provost Carland is committed to recruiting and supporting a faculty of outstanding teachers, who are also prominent practitioners and scholars.
