What is a diversity scholarship?

CCA’s Diversity Scholarship is an institutional scholarship awarded to qualified undergraduate and graduate applicants who are enrolling full-time at CCA. The scholarship covers tuition and fees for the length of the student’s program at CCA, as long as the student remains enrolled full time and maintains good academic standing.

Recipients are nominated based on their application for admission. Reviewers consider the student’s essay, letter of recommendation, and portfolio when nominating for this scholarship.

In consideration for this scholarship, reviewers are looking to understand the events and experiences that have shaped a student’s life. Tell us or show us how they relate to your identity, family, issues of social justice, racial inequality, the environment, or politics. Tell us who you are! Share your opinions, show us how you have demonstrated leadership or growth, or how these themes have influenced your creative practice.
