Curatorial Research Bureau at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts

As part of an exciting new partnership between California College of the Arts and Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, CCA’s Curatorial Practice program will be housed at Curatorial Research Bureau. This offsite classroom repositions Curatorial Practice outside the traditional walls of CCA’s academy allowing students to take advantage of the rich cultural context of the Bay Area, in particular the exhibitions, staff and artists of YBCA, and recognize context as an essential part of graduate studies at CCA. Graduate seminars will be held inside CRB, which will also host public events and a bookshop with a global selection of titles curated primarily by Motto Books and a selection of titles showcasing local artists and institutions.
