Event description

Barry McGee is among San Francisco’s most internationally influential artists. Born and raised in the Bay Area, he rose from the graffiti and art scene of the early 90s. Elements of his work include the bold use of iconic characters, geometric shapes, hand lettering, clusters of framed drawings and paintings, and the use of objects such as empty bottles, surfboards, and ephemera incorporated into his immersive installations. His work has been exhibited in museums and galleries in San Francisco, Tokyo, London, Rome, New York, Boston, and São Paulo.
