Event description

A year-long season of public events, commissioned essays, and reading group meetings. From September 2018 to July 2019, The Wattis Institute hosts a series of public lectures, performances, screenings, and other events. This research is informed by the work of the novelist and poet Dodie Bellamy.

Dodie Bellamy has lived and worked in San Francisco since 1978. A seminal member of the Bay Area’s avant-garde literary scene, Bellamy is a novelist and poet whose work has focused on sexuality, politics, feminism, narrative experimentation, and all things queer.
