This exhibition reveals the phenomenon of social injustice towards women that still exists in my Chinese cultural background. Metal and Concrete are major material categories in this exhibition. I aim to create not only aesthetically pleasing works, but I also hope viewers' understanding of my works is as a site of interaction between me and themselves, thus raising the awareness and courage to break down conventional ideologies of gender differences that we have been put on by our current society.
