Rob Bailey presents: Automatic Transmissions, a series of stream-of-consciousness poems that unearth personal and cultural history to explode the role of Irish-America in systems of oppression. Inspired by the confluence of life in Chicago and a backpacking pilgrimage through Ireland, Rob has built models of these two landscapes. With the skyline on one side and Ireland on the other, he will channel these transmissions in what will then become the Atlantic Ocean. Join him as he navigates the waves of emotion, the fluidity of identity, the hope for a humanizing future.
