Event description

What do we usually associate being sustainable with? Where does design fit into it? Is there a solution?  How do we rewire our creative thinking to target the missing step in the process?

California College of the Arts’ Graphic Design Department presents Rewire, a collection of student work which aims to transform the ways in which designers think and act in regards to sustainability. The constant and ongoing threats that face the planet can leave students feeling powerless and unable to make positive, lasting change. Rewire seeks to focus on rethinking how we create and approach design by bringing sustainable creativity to the forefront of our developing process and reflecting on our impactful roles as designers.
