Design: Furniture Design Minor
About
Industrial Design Students can complete a minor in Furniture by leveraging select Industrial Design studio course equivalencies, and their Studio Elective courses. The goal of this minor is to provide a pathway for students whose interests and personal work span across disciplines.
The minor is best suited for Industrial Design students interested in launching a personal practice, or being a designer/maker as an eventual profession. This minor reflects a longstanding relationship and cross-disciplinarity between Industrial Design and Furniture, and is structured to be completed without adding to projected graduation timelines or unit requirements.
