Registration, Tuition & Refunds

Tuition

Section enrollment is limited to 12-16 students depending on the course and facility. Participants receive a letter and certificate of completion for their participation.

Fall 2022 and Spring 2023

  • Tuition is $200 for a 2-day workshop.
  • All art supplies are included in the program tuition unless otherwise noted.
  • Lunch not included in tuition.

Summer 2023

  • Tuition Week 1: June 20-23 is $1000.
  • Tuition Week 2: June 26-30 is $1300.
  • Lunch and all art supplies are included in the program tuition unless otherwise noted.
  • Please note CCA Atelier does not provide housing options.

Eligibility

Fall 2023 and Spring 2023

Students must be enrolled in high school and be able to provide verification if requested.

Summer 2023

Students will have JUST COMPLETED their freshman or sophomore year of high school.

If your artist is not in the above grades, we offer a Young Artist Studio Program for students that have just completed the sixth, seventh, or eighth grade and a Pre-College program for students that just completed their sophomore, junior or senior year and want to earn 3 college credits.

Fall 2022 and Spring 2023

CCA Atelier weekend programs do not require an application and registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis by registering directly online. Spring 2023 registration is now open online here.

Summer 2023

There is no application for the summer Atelier program. All summer program registrations are submitted online. Registration will open in March 2023 and students select and pay directly for their individual studio of choice. Upon registration, students also need to submit an enrollment form that includes a high school transcript (unofficial transcripts are fine) indicating the student's current grade level. Summer 2023 registration is now open online here.

1) Please register using an email address that you check regularly, as all communication from the program, including your registration confirmation will be sent via email.

2) You will receive a confirmation email from Touchnet once your registration has been completed.

3) The enrollment form must be completed to finalize registration.

All payments will be made online during registration. Summer 2023 registration is now open online here.

Payment may be made by credit card (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, or American Express).

Refunds

-

Withdrawal/refund requests must be made in writing by email to CCA Youth Programs and Continuing Education.

  • The timestamp or postmark on the request will be honored as the withdrawal date.
  • Tuition refunds are prorated as outlined below and are calculated from the day the written notice is received.
  • Business days are Monday-Friday. Weekends are not counted as business days.
  • Any kind of refund given from an injury or illness requires a doctor's note.
  • Please allow four weeks to process all refund requests.

Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 Workshops

  • 90 percent refund four business days before the first class.
  • No refund thereafter.

Summer 2023 Program

Week 1: June 20-23

  • Withdrawal on or before Tuesday, May 30: Tuition ($945) + meal plan ($55) refunded minus $125 cancellation fee-$875
  • Withdrawal on May 31 to June 12: Tuition ($945) + meal plan ($55) refunded minus $200 cancellation fee- $800
  • Withdrawal submitted on Tuesday, June 13 or after are not eligible for a tuition +meal plan refund

Week 2: June 26-30

  • Withdrawal on or before Tuesday, May 30: Tuition ($1,235) + meal plan ($65) refunded minus $125 cancellation fee-$1,175
  • Withdrawal on May 31 to June 12: Tuition ($1,235) + meal plan ($65) refunded minus $200 cancellation fee- $1,100
  • Withdrawal submitted on Tuesday, June 13 or after are not eligible for a tuition +meal plan refund

Fees

There are no additional fees for summer 2023. Registration includes all studio materials, lab fees, and lunch each day of the program.

Scholarships

-

Summer 2023 scholarship application is open!

Scholarship applicants must submit all their materials by May 1, 2023. Award notifications will be made the following week.

Scholarships are available in a limited number for registrants who have significant financial need.

Because we anticipate the Summer Atelier will fill and only limited scholarship money is available, we strongly recommend that only registrants from families who could not otherwise afford to attend the program apply for a scholarship.

Spaces are reserved in the program for scholarship recipients.

Registrants should check the appropriate box on the registration form that indicates a desire for scholarship consideration.

Be sure to send the following materials with the application form and high school transcript:

  • a copy of the household's 2021 or 2022 federal income tax return filed by a parent(s) or guardian(s)
  • a statement by the parent(s) or guardian(s) that describes the family's financial need for the scholarship, and the applicant's interest in the program
  • name and phone number of a current teacher or counselor

Summer 2023

Benefits eligible CCA staff members may register their child for CCA's Summer Atelier program (open to high school students who have JUST COMPLETED the 9th or 10th grade).

There are two registration options:

1) Register with a discount of $125 for any Summer Atelier, regardless of program length.

2) Wait until one week before a particular Summer Atelier class begins, enroll if there is space available, pay $350.

In both cases, students must go through the regular application process. If there are multiple tuition-remission applicants, admission will be determined on a first- come, first-served basis, with preference given to first-time enrollees. There are other guidelines as well.

Tuition remission can now be requested in Workday by eligible employees! An updated policy can also be found on the portal. To apply for tuition remission for Summer Atelier, please follow these directions:

  1. Log into Workday.
  2. In the search bar at the top of the page, type in "create request."
  3. In the drop down menu, type "tuition" and hit enter.
  4. Complete and submit the form in Workday
