Moodle Gradebook Visibility: Your gradebook is hidden to your students by default.

Your gradebook is hidden to your students by default. You will need to go to the Gear, Edit settings, Appearance, to show the gradebook to students. Be sure that your gradebook has actually been set up properly prior to doing this. If your gradebook is set up incorrectly, it could display the wrong grades to students. If you are not ready or if you do not plan to use the gradebook, be sure to tell the students to click on their individual assignments to see their grades.
