COVID-19 Information for Staff

Out of concern for the safety and well-being of students, staff, and faculty, the college will not return to in-person instruction this semester. Students will complete the term using the distance-learning approaches currently being developed by faculty.

We will continue to update this page as the latest information becomes available. Should you have questions about workplace policies or require additional assistance, your Human Resources team is standing by to offer support.


Working Remotely

Most staff have been working remotely since March 17. Only staff whose presence on campus is essential to the safety and well-being of our students and the continuity of basic operations are continuing to work on campus, as indicated by state and local stay-at-home orders.

Compensation

Regular staff, faculty, student workers, and TAs are continuing to receive their salaries during this disruption.

In order to avoid delays with your paycheck, student payment, or financial aid refunds, we strongly encourage you to set up direct deposit in Workday. Here is how to set up direct deposit. If you do not have direct deposit set up, your paycheck will be mailed, so make sure contact information is up to date in Workday. Here is how to update your contact information.

Please review CCA’s paid leave policies on the Workplace Guidelines During COVID–19 Closure Portal page for information about additional accommodations associated with COVID–19. If you are concerned you do not have sick time available, contact HR.


Campus Access

Both CCA campuses are closed until further notice. Exceptions include residence-hall access for students who have been approved to remain in student housing, and limited access for employees and students who need to retrieve essential items. Please respect the public health order to stay at home, and do not come to campus unnecessarily.

Reporting Concerns and Emergency Resources

  • To report a concern regarding a CCA student, please submit a CCA Cares form.
  • To report other concerns or questions, contact Human Resources at hr@cca.edu
  • Update your personal and emergency information in Workday, and be sure you are signed up to receive emergency alerts through our Rave system.
  • CCA’s Employee Assistance Program is available to eligible employees at 800-834-3773 or www.claremonteap.com for help with feelings of stress or anxiety.
