Dear CCA Students,

We are writing to share some news and updates that will be important as you plan your spring 2022 semester. As a reminder, spring registration is open through 11:59 pm (Pacific Time) on Friday, November 19. You can find detailed registration information on the registration Portal page

Shuttle Service

Shuttle service between the Oakland and San Francisco campuses will resume on January 18. The schedule is designed primarily to serve students living on the San Francisco campus with courses in Oakland. The shuttle schedule, additional transit resources, and more information are available on Portal

Vaccination Requirement for Spring 2022

All students, faculty, and staff are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by January 10, 2022. Please update your vaccination status in Workday as soon as possible. All students will be required to provide proof of vaccination when you arrive on campus.

If you are unable to receive a vaccination in your current location and need a temporary extension, or would like more information about applying for a permanent exemption due to a disability, medical, or religious reason, please email deanofstudents@cca.edu.

California and the Bay Area have excellent vaccination resources and availability. If you are granted a temporary extension or a permanent exemption, you will be required to provide a negative PCR test once per week until you are fully vaccinated. If you are not fully vaccinated or not granted an extension or exemption before the first day of class you will be dropped from courses.

For more information, visit Portal.
