As we prepare to celebrate this year's commencement class, eligible students are asked to please complete the Commencement Questionnaire in Workday to provide essential planning details.

Commencement Eligibility

• CCA is celebrating the following students as members of the Class of 2023:
  • Degree Recipients: Fall 2022
  • Anticipated Degree Recipients: Spring 2023 & Summer 2023

Deadline: Commencement Questionnaire (Required!)

• Tuesday, March 21, 2023 (EXTENDED!)
  • ANNOUNCEMENT (March 23, 2023): If you missed the extended deadline, please submit your Commencement Questionnaire immediately. Questions? Please contact commencement@cca.edu.

Log in to Workday:

• Go to workday.cca.edu, and log in using your CCA account credentials.

On the main Workday screen:

• Enter "Create Request" in Workday's search bar at the top of the page, and click "Create Request - Task" in the suggested results.

On the Create Request screen:

• In the "Request Type" field, enter "Commencement Questionnaire", and click Return on your keyboard.
• Once "Commencement Questionnaire" pops up in the "Request Type" box, click "OK" at the bottom of the screen.

On the Commencement Questionnaire screen:

• Review the instructions at the top of the screen about updating your name in Workday carefully.
  • If you want details about how your name will be used, please review the list of questions for additional information about commencement publications.
• Complete all questions (required).
• If you have questions about the Commencement Questionnaire, click "Save for Later" at the bottom of the screen, and please email your question(s) to commencement@cca.edu.
• Once you have completed the questionnaire, please click "Submit" at the bottom of the screen.

Ticket Requests:

• Once you submit the Commencement Questionnaire, please check your CCA account for a confirmation email. (In Workday, a confirmation notice will also appear under Workday notifications (i.e., the bell icon) next to your Workday inbox.)
  • If you indicated that you plan to participate in the ceremony, check your CCA email for a Commencement Ticket Request form.
    • Please note:
      • Each questionnaire is individually processed, so your Commencement Ticket Request form may not be available for at least several days – thank you for your patience.
      • Check the email's subject line for your Commencement Ticket Request deadline.

Revise Requests & Follow Up Questions:

• Please watch your CCA email for follow up questions.
  • If you receive a "Revise Request" task in your Workday inbox for the "Request Process: Commencement Questionnaire", please scroll to the "Comments" section at the bottom for information about what changes need to be made or questions that need to be answered.
  • Additional questions might be emailed from commencement@cca.edu or student-affairs@cca.edu.
  • Commencement Ticket Request forms will be sent after follow up questions are resolved.

Questionnaire Status Check:

• Confirm if you submitted your Commencement Questionnaire, and check its status.
  • In Workday, search for “My Requests," and select the "My Requests" report. Review your list of requests in the report to confirm if you submitted the Commencement Questionnaire request and to check its current status (e.g., Successfully Completed, In Progress, etc.).
  • As long as you submitted it, there's no need to resubmit (unless your answers have changed) – we're working on it, and this can take several days since each questionnaire is individually reviewed and processed. Please watch your CCA email for messages from student-affairs@cca.edu in case we have any follow up questions.

May 2023 Commencement Ceremony Eligibility:

Commencement Questionnaires are Required:

• Seats in the theater for both eligible students and their guests are reserved based on students' responses to the Commencement Questionnaire and the Commencement Ticket Request form.
  • Both forms must be completed by the deadlines to ensure seats are available for all participating students and their guests.
• If eligible students do not complete the Commencement Questionnaire by the deadline, their preferred name in Workday will be published in commencement publications.
  • To opt out of having your name published or to select how your name should appear, please complete the Commencement Questionnaire.

Commencement Updates:

• Students eligible to participate in this year's commencement ceremonies should be receiving email updates about deadlines. If you think you should be eligible and you haven't received emails, please contact commencement@cca.edu.
