Student Success Plan

The Success Support Plan is open to all students who are looking to strengthen their academic success, but it is especially designed to support students placed on academic probation. If you have been placed on academic probation, we strongly recommend you follow the steps outlined below to help you strategize successful completion of next-semester courses and return to good academic standing.

NOTE: CCA's goal is to help you get the care and support that is needed during difficult and challenging personal and academic circumstances.

  • If you have concerns related to behavior, basic needs, disability services, health and wellbeing, or potential policy violations, we highly encourage you to submit a CCA Cares Form.
  • For support through a broad spectrum of mental health services, including individual therapy, crisis intervention, consultation, referrals, workshops, and outreach, we highly encourage you to make a Counseling Appointment.

For Undergraduate Students:

  • Schedule 2 meetings with your Academic Advisor (1 at the beginning of the semester to identify goals and 1 before the Course Withdrawal deadline to review midterm progress)
  • Schedule 2 meetings with your Program Chair (1 at the beginning of the semester to identify goals and 1 before the Course Withdrawal deadline to review midterm progress)
  • Schedule 5 academic coaching sessions throughout the semester to support your learning

For Graduate Students:

Step 2: Review Need-To-Know Policies

Step 3: Implement Academic Success Strategies

Step 4: Reflect and Develop SMART Goals

Step 5: Connect with Resources for Additional Support
