Undergraduate Tuition

Full-Time Students (12–18 units) for Fall 2024 & Spring 2025:

$29,688 per term + $2,474 per unit over 18

Part-Time Students (fewer than 12 units) for Fall 2024 & Spring 2025: $2,474 per unit

New Graduate Students

• MFA Comics (Summer 2024 flat rate for 6–12 units): $14,094 per term
• MFA Comics (Summer 2024 fewer than 6 units and over 12 units): $2,349 per unit
• MFA Comics (Fall 2024 & Spring 2025 flat rate for 6–12 units): $14,538 per term

Undergraduate application fee: $70

Graduate application fee: $70

Undergraduate enrollment deposit: $185 (applied to tuition charges)

Graduate enrollment deposit: $385 (applied to tuition charges)

Registration fee: $115 per term (Fall 2024 and Spring 2025)

Registration fee: $50 (Summer 2024 only)

Re-registration fee: $115 per term

Late Registration fee: $200 per term

Student Services Fee: $75 per term

Touchnet Payment Plan Enrollment Fee: $25 per term and per plan

Health insurance Fee:

• $639 (Summer 2024: MFA in Comics students only)
• $1,685 (Fall 2024)
• $2,335 (Spring 2025)
• $335 (Summer 2025: MFA in Comics students only)

Other Mandatory Fees:

Adobe Creative Cloud Access Fee (charged to all full-time and part-time students): $80 per term

Transportation Fee (charged to all full-time and part-time students): $155 per term

Students majoring in Design Strategy MBA or MFA Comics are exempt from the transportation fee. There are no other exemptions.

Late Payment Fees - Fall

For first payment not received by August 1st: $150 For each subsequent late payment: $50

Late Payment Fees - Spring

For first payment not received by December 1st: $150 For each subsequent late payment: $50

Refundable Studio Deposits

Graduate Fine Arts: $150

Other Fees

Returned Check Fee: $25

Student ID Replacement Fee: $10

Transcript Fee : $10 per copy

Housing Contract Breakage Fees: Please refer to the refunds page for the complete housing refund and cancellation policies.

Housing Confirmation Payment: $250 (Nonrefundable and not included in the housing rates below)

Housing Transfer Fee (Move Request): $125

Live on Residency Requirement - Fall

Students that do not register for housing, or have an approved Exemption on file on or before June 15 will be charged a non-compliance fee equivalent to the full amount for Founders Double Studio housing: $8,666

Live on Residency Requirement - Spring

Students that do not register for housing, or have an approved Exemption on file on or before December 1 will be charged a non-compliance fee equivalent to the full amount for Founders Double Studio: $6,805
