Alumni Campus Access

Last updated on Sep 10, 2024

Alumni Campus Access Protocols

We are excited to welcome alumni back to campus for events, exhibitions and public programming, and to access services and alumni benefits.

Please enter campus buildings via the 145 Hooper entrance, where Public Safety staff will ask you to sign in. They will also need to see your alumni membership card and some form of photo ID (i.e. Driver's License, Passport, etc.). If you need an alumni membership card, you can receive one during your first visit back to campus from the Library, or please email alumni@cca.edu prior to your visit and our team can mail you a card.

Alumni are not required to wear masks on-campus, but well-fitting non-vented N95, KN95, or KF94 respirators are still highly recommended for up to 5 days if you have ended your isolation period after testing positive for COVID-19 or if you have been exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19. This applies to both vaccinated and non-vaccinated community members.

Library Access

All alumni have continued access to the CCA Libraries as part of their Alumni Association benefits. Alumni living in the Bay Area are also able to check out books with an annual membership. When visiting the Simpson Library in San Francisco, please present your alumni membership card and proof of a local address to Library staff. For alumni who graduated in Spring 2020 or later, your free 1 year membership to check out books will begin upon your first visit to the Library. For alumni who graduated before Spring 2020, circulation privileges are $25 per year. Please check the Libraries website for library open hours.
