Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS)

CCA Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS) is committed to the personal development and professional advancement of students engaged in an arts-based educational environment fostering creativity, curiosity, and diversity. CAPS encourages student success and well-being by providing a broad spectrum of mental health services, including individual therapy, crisis intervention, consultation, referrals, workshops on mental health topics, and outreach.



  1. CAPS will begin an administrative in service from Monday May 13th - Friday May 31st 2024. (Ongoing weekly appointments will not be available however phone consultations and referrals and crisis hotline services will continue.)
  2. CAPS will be closed for the Memorial Day Holiday and Staff Vacations from Thursday May 23rd 2024- Wednesday May 29th 2024. Crisis hotline services will still be available but phone and email communication will be suspended until Thursday May 30th 2024.
  3. Summer 2024 appointments will be available online and in person starting Monday June 3rd, 2024.

  • You want to be added to the waitlist for services.
  • You need a referral for psychological or psychiatric support outside of CCA.
  • To schedule a One Time Urgent (OTU) Appointment.
