Alumni Campus Access

Last updated on Jan 10, 2023

Alumni Campus Access Protocols

We are excited to welcome alumni back to campus for events, exhibitions and public programming, and to access services and alumni benefits.

When entering campus buildings, Public Safety staff will ask you to sign in. They will also need to see your alumni membership card and some form of photo ID (i.e. Driver's License, Passport, etc.). If you need an alumni membership card, you can receive one during your first visit back to campus from the Library, or please email alumni@cca.edu prior to your visit and our team can mail you a card.

Below find specific protocols for accessing certain services. More information about CCA’s general health and safety protocols can be found here. Should you test positive for COVID-19 within 48 hours of visiting campus, use this form to self-report your case or email COVIDresponse@cca.edu.

Currently masks are not required to be worn on campus, but they are still highly recommended.

Library Access

All alumni have continued access to the CCA Libraries as part of their Alumni Association benefits. Alumni living in the Bay Area are also able to check out books with an annual membership. When visiting the Simpson Library in San Francisco, please present your alumni membership card showing proof of vaccine verification along with proof of a local address to Library staff. For alumni who graduated in Spring 2020 or later, your free 1 year membership to check out books will begin upon your first visit to the Library. For alumni who graduated before Spring 2020, circulation privileges are $25 per year. Please check the Libraries website for library open hours.
