Institutional Research (IR) performs studies in relation to educational and institutional effectiveness. Study results can take various forms--papers, slide decks, etc. A collection of our latest studies can be found below.
- Grade Forgiveness Project - Fall 2024. Under the guidance of the Provost's Office, IR studies Insufficient Grades on an annual basis during Summer. Our 2024 analysis revealed an unusually low number of grades that were forgiven through the Grade Forgiveness Policy. This resulted in an audit for all grades eligible to be forgiven, and led to a process of forgiving eligible grades automatically after each academic period.
