In this 4-hour workshop, participants will write scripts to make computer graphics ( or something adjacent to their practice ). The workshop is divided into three sections, functioning as a condensed version of john’s teaching, inspirations, and projects. Participants will have ample time to conceptualize, code, experiment, and share scripts of their own. Using p5.js ( or a library/framework of choice ) we’ll examine ways of writing code using randomness, rulesets, and participation to make form outputs.
