Event description
This spring’s CCA Architecture Lecture Series brings together architects, artists, scholars, and designers whose work engages the urgent forces reshaping contemporary practice, from artificial intelligence and automation to extraction, material systems, and community-driven design. Across lectures, conversations, and exhibitions, the series examines how architecture negotiates questions of agency, labor, technology, and responsibility in a moment of accelerating change.
Rather than treating the future as abstract or inevitable, these events frame it as something to be confronted and shaped. Together, the speakers ask not only what architecture can do, but how it can act with intention, care, and imagination to produce more just, resilient, and meaningful futures.
