Attention CCa Community!

July 19th through 27th 2025 is National Moth week. Citizen scientists around the country will be hosting events to attract and document moth species in the evenings. Using light traps, photography, and iNaturalist, attendants will spend some evening hours visiting and observing moths that call CCa and the greater Mission Bay neighborhood their home! We will gather in the Novack Outdoor Space, near the grass at sunset and see how many moths we can count!

Guests from outside CCA: Please RSVP and plan on checking in with Public Safety when you arrive.

We will be utilizing iNaturalist to catalog and help identify all of the moths we see. Please make an account if you would like to participate and join the Mothing at CCA project
