FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

Friday, July 14th

8:30 - 10pm – a reception and signing (in conjunction with Comics in the City guest speaker Thien Pham)

We proudly welcome back Emanata, a show devoted to the art of comics! The MFA Comics second-summer cohort show off their skills by creating this gallery show installation displaying the artistry behind their comics that appear on the screen and printed page: original art pages, character and location designs, worldbuilding artifacts, and more. The students also create a run of mini-comics that reference the work hung on the walls.

Please join us for the opening of this dynamic show! It also serves as a reception and signing for our Comics in the City guest speaker Thien Pham, who will be presenting earlier in the evening.

The Emanata show will be up until Friday, August 4th. Viewings at times beyond the opening are available upon request. Please contact Justin Hall (jhall@cca.edu) and/or Jason Morris (jmorris@cca.edu).

Please join us at the Hubbell Gallery at 111 Hubbell Street. The Emanata Show opening will be in conjunction with the signing and reception for Thien Pham, one of our Comics in the City guest speakers.
