Event description

Open to everyone, all bodies, and all abilities. Facilitated by movement artist Hope Mohr, this workshop will guide you through a series of gentle, accessible practices designed to ground, clear, and cultivate energy in your body. 

We will move together, honor sensation, and connect with our sense of joy and resilience.

FEATURED ARTIST:

Hope Mohr (she/her) is a multidisciplinary artist working across performance, visual art, and language. Her work in dance, drawing, and fabric explores embodiment, feminism, gender, and queerness. For over thirty years, she has made multidisciplinary performance for theatrical contexts, museums, and galleries. She teaches contemporary dance technique, creative movement, movement for actors, and cross-disciplinary practice and has taught "Bodies in Practice and Performance" at CCA. Her book, Shifting Cultural Power: Case Studies and Questions in Performance, was published by the National Center for Choreography in 2020. www.hopemohr.org"
