Event description
How Soon Is Now? offers a glimpse into the work and culture of architecture and interior design at California College of the Arts. Bringing together recent work with selected material from the programs’ past, the exhibition explores some of the ideas, practices, and forms of inquiry that have shaped the Architecture Division and its programs.
Models, project images, installations, publications, posters, postcards, artifacts, and photographs of life in and around the school bring recent work into conversation with fragments from the programs’ histories. Together, they offer a portrait of an educational culture shaped by experimentation and inquiry, and by an ongoing engagement with the social, technological, and environmental questions facing architecture and design today.
