HAVC Writers Talk is a series of lively conversations that bring the dynamic research practices of CCA’s History of Art and Visual Culture faculty to the wider community. Each event pairs a HAVC faculty member who has recently published a book with an invited guest to discuss the  work. The 2022-23 series includes such topics as the art and science of Berlin Dada, memory and trauma in contemporary Vietnamese and Cambodian art, the meaning and power of South Asian temple architecture, and the entanglement of the body and nature in Postwar Italian sculpture.
