The work in this exhibition is the result of an experimental class created by Chris Johnson and Susanne Cockrell called Art and Healing. 

The interdisciplinary nature of the course allowed students to explore many different aspects of this broad theme including: art as a process of personal growth, the healing powers of nature and storytelling, and the devotional character of self-defined rituals. 

Participating artists include Claire Bivins, Emily Fernandes, Ben Eckert, Birdie Hostettler, Patty Jarmy, Yiwei Jiang (Jane), Joy Kong, Angela Lafko, Mengqi Li, Lingqi Liu, Leo Loren, Jiahui Luo, Baigexi Qi, Faye Vavra, Bruno Ventura, and Yaxuan Zhang.
