Highlights by Olivia Louise Hale is a direct response to her experience working in the cannabis industry and the misogyny and sexism that exists within that space. With her digital paintings she calls attention to and honors inspirational women and the diversity within the cannabis industry. Her screen printed posters challenge the objectification of women in cannabis advertisements showing that the sexualization of female bodies is not necessary or even desired. With her empowering portraiture and bright colors, Olivia Louise calls attention to and honors the role of strong female leaders in the ever-changing cannabis industry.
