Event description
Jean Frédéric Koné is an Ivorian-born French illustrator and comic book author currently based in Paris. After a long stint in the webcomics space with strips such as Bruise, American Freaks, and Les Princes, as well as publications in various collective projects, he finally released his first print book, the first volume of his series Santa Frances. The slice-of-life, erotic comic follows the lives and times of a group of gay guys in an imaginary San Francisco.
Koné will read from his work and be interviewed by Chair of MFA Comics and fellow cartoonist Justin Hall, followed by a short reception.
