Event description
The CCA student community presents VOICES, a night of artistic expression and reflection. VOICES will be a safe space held between fellow students, friends and peers, open to all forms of heartfelt storytelling. We invite you to come share your thoughts and emotions regarding your own personal life experiences. Absent a central theme, VOICES will instead focus on life through the lens of a CCA student.
Whether it be critical commentary our current social, political or economic climate, or a tale from your upbringing that was impactful to you, we implore you to share your unique experiences. As a representation of the CCA community, VOICES is a welcoming and inclusive space, and will under no circumstances tolerate any kind of hate speech. We want to stress the importance of harmoniously coming together as a community, and work in unison at building a better future. A future which we believe, begins with our VOICES.
Doors at the CCA Gallery on 1480 17th Street open at 7PM. Goat Hill Pizza and some light refreshments will be served.
Please email Isaiah Diaz-Mays at diazmays@cca.edu if you'd like to reserve a spot in advance.
