Curriculum
The Master of Interaction Design (MDes) is a studio-based, craft-centered program focused on designing digital technologies for human use. The program will train students in powerful and relevant skills and methodologies in order to craft innovative solutions for people and society.
Our community-engaged, project-based curriculum is intended to develop more than mere technology-shaping prowess; it will equip students to make a positive impact through mastery of human-centered design.
Our program will help experienced designers to become leaders in creating world-class user experiences (UX), while enabling less experienced designers to accelerate their careers.
Ultimately, graduates will be well positioned to creatively address the divergence between our rapidly developing technologies and the need for these innovative tools to be widely and equitably accessible.
There are currently three academic paths for MDesID students
The three paths are Yellow, Green and Orange.
These paths are all based on the curricular sequence totaling 36 units.
