CCA has many ways to get assistance with technical issues you may encounter.
Self Help
Many instructions and solutions to common tech problems are documented on the Portal Knowledge Base.
Help Desk
Help Desk staff are available during regular College hours, Monday through Friday, from 9:00AM—5:00PM.
If you are experiencing technical issues and need help, please reach out using any of the methods below:

Help Desk staff can assist you with basic troubleshooting, directing you to the right department to get assistance, account resets, and many other issues.
In Person Tech Support
Lab Monitors are student workers who can assist with many common printing and computer lab issues. They are stationed in Lab 240 at various hours during the semester.
For more in depth drop-in support, come to the Tech Office which is staffed by our User Support Specialists. The Tech Office is located in the Main Building 2nd floor in Room 207, hours vary so please check the Tech Office page for more details.
User Support Specialists are available to provide troubleshooting assistance and support with the following:
- Installing software needed for class, including Adobe account issues
- Connecting to CCA online resources, including Wifi
- Troubleshooting or advising on hardware issues
- Best practices for file storage
- Limited student laptop support
Please back up your computer before your appointment with User Support. If you need help doing that, we can help you! Drop-in or make an appointment via the Help Desk.

Media Services is available to help with Classroom A/V and projector issues. For support call 415-551-9240, Submit Help Desk Ticket, or stop by the Media Center located in the Main Building 1st floor next to Timken Lecture Hall. Hours vary, so please check the Media Center page for more details.
Apple retail stores are available to Apple computer owners for hands-on support and assistance. Appointments can be reserved at any Apple store location, or online through the Genius Bar Reservation System.
