For the last fifteen years, David Lauer has been an animator on stop motion and CG films, tv shows and commercials. 

Graduating from CCA in 2013, he animated on the stop motion feature MAD GOD for ten years, while simultaneously working on other features and shows for Tippett Studios, including Solo: A Star Wars Story, The Mandalorian, Ted 2, The Orville, and others besides. 

Choosing to pursue stop motion exclusively, David worked on dozens of commercials, short films and documentaries, building up a network to eventually co-found the Oakland, CA animation studio Mystery Meat Media. 

At Mystery Meat, David has directed and co-directed animation sequences for Sorry to Bother You, I'm A Virgo, and Tiki Donn, as well as further work with Disney, Nickelodeon, Apple TV, Netflix, and more.
