The Printmedia studios first and foremost support the classes within the program. Students currently enrolled in these classes, and Printmedia majors, have the priority within the studios and for equipment and supplies.
For graduate students or upper-division project access, please complete the Access Questionnaire.
Orientations are provided by the Studio Manager after you have filled out the Access Questionnaire, and your knowledge of the technique(s) and project proposal have been reviewed.
Access will be granted depending on knowledge and studio capacity. We cannot provide new student access after week ten of the semester.
Orientation
Spring Orientations will run Jan 28 - March 14, 2025.
Orientations are available weeks two through nine this semester.
Start the process by filling out the Orientation Access Form.
Once your Access Form has been reviewed, you will receive an email giving you an Orientation date selection. Orientations are not drop in, and they are only for the person who has filled out the form.

ORIENTATION DATES
SCREEN STUDIO ORIENTATIONS
Screen Studio orientations will be held the first half of the semester.
Start the process by filling out the Orientation Access Form.
Please expect Orientation to take about 1 hour, more if you bring supplies to prep.
Depending on your project, you may need to bring your own screen. Please discuss this with the Studio Manager. Screens should be no smaller than 20" x 24, and no larger than 25" x 36". You must tape them off so now part of the frame is in contact with the Exposure Unit glass.
Orientations acquaint you with the studio, and the equipment you are able to access within it.
Orientations do not teach you how to use equipment. For that, you need to enroll in a class or take credits with a faculty member. You may be asked to show work that you made used the technique you are requesting access to.
You must be able to work alone in the studio, unsupervised with your technique.
