Screenprint Studio
Rayko Studios - 428 3rd Street Rm. First Floor

For authorized students only.

This studio is open to students who are currently enrolled in a Screenprinting, or Papermaking class or are Printmedia majors. Orientations are provided by the studio manager.

For graduate students or upper-division project access, please contact the Studio Manager. This access will be granted depending on studio capacity. We cannot provide new student access after week ten of the semester.

COVID-19 Policy:

Masks are suggested in the studios.


Spring Orientations will run Jan 30th - March 31st, 2023.

Orientations are available during the first ten weeks of the semester. Start the process by filling out the Orientation Access Form. Orientations are by reservation only after your Access Form has been reviewed, they are not drop-in.

Rayko 110 is a combination screen printing and paper-making studio.

  • Screen-coating facility with light sensitive emulsion

  • Hollander beater (paper-making)
  • Hydro-pulper (paper-making)
  • Numerous molds for various handmade paper sheet sizes
  • Couching screens for drying handmade paper




Screen Studio orientations will be held the first half of the semester.
Start the process by filling out the Orientation Access Form.

Please expect it will take about 1 hour, more if you bring supplies to prep.

You will need to bring your own screen into the studio to use. Please bring it to the orientation. Feel free to reach out to the Studio Manager if you need help finding a screen, or need to understand mesh counts. Screens should be no smaller than 20" x 24, and no larger than 25" x 36".

Spring 2023! End of Semester Information!

Students in Printmedia and Screen classes should empty their class flat files and cubbies by the end of Sunday hours on May 7th.
Check the Calendar for Rayko Building Hours. Any items left behind become the property of the studio, ...
