Fall 2024 orientations and access begin on Monday, September 16.
Monday - Thursday: 8 am - 6 pm
Friday: 8 am - 8 pm
Saturday: 12 pm - 8 pm
Sunday: CLOSED

Current Students, Faculty, and Staff may reserve and use any of the tools in the Digital Fabrication Studio after completing a tool safety orientation.
Orientations are available during the first ten weeks of the semester; a schedule of Digital Fabrication Studio Orientations can be found here. We cannot provide new user orientations after week ten of the semester.
Due to academic program needs and the large volume of students that this space supports, the Digital Fabrication Studio is NOT available to for alumni access.
About the Digital Fabrication Studio
The Digital Fabrication Studio is a prototyping space enabled by computerized machinery. Tools include CNC Laser Cutters/Engravers, 3D Printers, a Vinyl Cutter, and CNC Routers.

ORIENTATION DATES
Users must attend an orientation to be allowed access to any of the equipment in the Digital Fabrication Studio. A full list of currently scheduled orientations will be listed on the calendar posted to this page or can be found here. Orientations are available during the first ten weeks of the semester, w are unable to provide new user orientations after week ten of the semester. There are 2 types of orientations:
Open Orientations: Any user (student, staff, and faculty) may attend an "open" orientation, which are scheduled frequently throughout the semester. Sign ups for Digital Fabrication Studio orientations are required. To attend, please find a scheduled orientation "open" orientation on our calendar, be on time and sign in on the attendance sheet; users who are more than 5 minutes late will not be allowed to attend or certified on the equipment.
Class Orientations: A class orientation is a private or closed orientation organized by a faculty member for their students in a specific class. The Rapid Prototyping Studio requires a minimum of 1 weeks notice to attempt to schedule your classes orientation. Faculty may request to schedule a "class" orientation by submitting this Digital Fabrication Studio Request Form
