Immerse yourself in art making in our topic-focused art programs specifically for rising sophomores and juniors
CCA’s Summer Atelier is a noncredit, nonresidential program that offers students who just completed their freshman or sophomore year of high school by June 2020 the opportunity to immerse themselves in art making on our Oakland and San Francisco campuses.
You hone your skills, learn new concepts and techniques, and meet others from around the Bay Area and beyond who share your interest in art. At the conclusion of the program, you'll participate in a student exhibition.
All class materials and lab fees are included in the cost of tuition (Photo students are asked to bring a 35mm film camera)

CCA has made the difficult decision to cancel this summer’s Summer Atelier program due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
We deeply regret disappointing the young artists who hoped to visit our campus this summer and deepen their skills. We were looking forward to meeting and working with them, but the health and safety of our students, instructors, and staff has to be our top priority and it has become clear to us that we will not be able to achieve the levels of social distancing that will still be required this summer.
Admitted students and families have been contacted via email regarding full refunds.
Please reach out to Audrey Jones, Summer Atelier Program Manager, at Audrey Jones with any questions or concerns.
