Immerse yourself in art making in our topic-focused art programs specifically for rising sophomores and juniors
CCA’s Summer Atelier is a noncredit, nonresidential program that offers students who just completed their freshman or sophomore year of high school by June 2020 the opportunity to immerse themselves in art making on our Oakland and San Francisco campuses.
You hone your skills, learn new concepts and techniques, and meet others from around the Bay Area and beyond who share your interest in art. At the conclusion of the program, you'll participate in a student exhibition.
All class materials and lab fees are included in the cost of tuition (Photo students are asked to bring a 35mm film camera)
All CCA summer 2020 youth programs were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
We are hopeful that we will be able to return to in-person instruction in summer 2021 and are already starting to make plans to welcome students on campus.
