CCA’s Summer Atelier is a noncredit, nonresidential program that offers students who just completed their freshman or sophomore year of high school by June 2020 the opportunity to immerse themselves in art making on our Oakland and San Francisco campuses.
You hone your skills, learn new concepts and techniques, and meet others from around the Bay Area and beyond who share your interest in art. At the conclusion of the program, you'll participate in a student exhibition.
All class materials and lab fees are included in the cost of tuition (Photo students are asked to bring a 35mm film camera)
Note regarding COVID-19 coronavirus from CCA Special Programs
We understand that families may be experiencing anxiety around their summer plans, but want to assure you that CCA has every intention of moving forward with our Summer Atelier program. We are excited to support early high school students' success and look forward to welcoming everyone to campus this summer.
While we are finalizing all of our plans for Summer Atelier 2020, we are also closely monitoring updates from the CDC and state authorities surrounding COVID-19. Please know that in the event that July or August programs are cancelled, full refunds will be issued.
