Moodle Foundations Course for Faculty
Moodle Foundations is a self-paced, asynchronous Moodle course to teach you how to use Moodle as an Instructor.
Learning outcome
Once you have completed the Moodle Foundations course, you will be able to use the necessary tools and features of Moodle to support your online, hybrid, or classroom/studio teaching.
Three Learning Paths
- Complete the entire Moodle Foundations course at your own pace. You will be provided a Practice Course (sandbox site) to complete exercises which will be reviewed/graded. The sandbox site will be yours to keep.
- Progress through the Moodle Foundations course in any order and use it as a resource.
- Enroll as a faculty cohort member and complete the course and additional requirements to obtain approval to teach online at CCA. For details, please contact pathtoapproval@cca.edu.
Self-enroll
Self-enroll in the Moodle Foundations by clicking this link and then clicking on the Enroll me button. Completing the Moodle Foundations course can happen at your own pace, although we recommend finishing it within the semester (unless otherwise directed).
Practice Course (sandbox site)
Within 24 hours of enrollment, you will be provided a Practice Course (sandbox site) to complete exercises which will be reviewed/graded. The sandbox site will be yours to keep.
