California College of the Arts Joins JED Campus Fundamentals to Support Student Mental Health
JED Campus Fundamentals Program
CCA will assess and enhance Mental Health, Substance Use, and Suicide Prevention Efforts in partnership with The Jed Foundation (JED).
Over the course of 18 months, California College of the Arts will collaborate with JED to help implement enhancements. Upon completion of the assessment, JED subject matter experts provide schools with a comprehensive feedback report identifying successes and opportunities for enhancements.

Healthy Minds Study
CCA will participate in the Healthy Minds Study in as part of our assessment efforts. Started in 2007, the Health Minds Study (HMS) is a web-based student mental health survey based at the Healthy Minds Network at the University of Michigan. As a JED campus, this study will help inform our campus strategic plan and measure program outcomes.

Task Force on Mental Health and Well-Being
An interdisciplinary, campus-wide team (a.k.a. Task Force on Mental Health and Well-Being) has been established to assess, support and implement program, policy, and system improvements and completing a confidential, self-assessment survey on its mental health promotion, substance use, and suicide prevention efforts.
