Such actions can have serious implications for your F1 status and future immigration benefits. Selling goods or artwork, even on campus or at a one-time event, can be considered employment under U.S. immigration regulations. F-1 students are not permitted to engage in employment without prior authorization (such as CPT, OPT, or on-campus employment approval).

CCA Art & Craft Fair: Because selling at the fair involves receiving payment, currently enrolled F-1 students are not eligible to participate as vendors.
