Submitting an I-20 Request : Summer & Fall 2025 new students

Last updated on Jun 27, 2025

Visa Application Processing has Resumed - Updated June 19, 2025

Effective June 18, 2025 the Department of State announced that it issued the expected "new guidance" on social media vetting, and consulates will resume scheduling F, M, and J nonimmigrant visa appointments: "Our overseas posts will resume scheduling F, M, and J nonimmigrant visa applications soon.  Applicants should check the relevant embassy or consulate website for appointment availability." See Announcement of Expanded Screening and Vetting for Visa Applicant, U.S. Department of State press release, June 18, 2025.

If you already have a scheduled visa interview, please attend it as planned and ensure you have all the necessary documents.

The International Student Services (ISS) team is following this situation closely for more detailed information. At this time we strongly recommend that admitted students proceed with requesting the CCA I-20 as soon as possible.

Congratulations on your admission to CCA!

Most international students must obtain a F-1 student visa to come to the United States to study full time in a degree program. Begin this process by submitting an I-20 request form, a bank statement that demonstrates your ability to cover the cost of attending CCA for at least one academic year and copy of the biographical page in your passport. The I-20 Request process is completed digitally in Workday Student.

Please keep in mind, CCA will not issue an I-20 until you have been admitted to the school and have paid the enrollment deposit.
