New Resource: Transition Support Appointments for Students

Dear Colleagues,

As CCA prepares to conclude operations at the end of the 2026–27 academic year, Student Services continues to expand resources to support students in understanding their options and planning their academic paths with clarity and confidence.

Student Services, in partnership with our Admissions Team, is now offering Transition Support appointments which provide individualized guidance for students navigating questions related to registration planning, graduation timelines, transfer & teach-out considerations.

Students will receive an announcement of this resource later today. Please see our portal page for the announcement. This will also be shared in next week's HR newsletter.

During these one-on-one sessions, Student Services can help students:

  • Prepare for Summer and Fall registration
  • Understand their academic plan and anticipated graduation timeline
  • Learn what teach-out options may mean for them
  • Consider transfer pathways to other colleges or universities

These appointments are designed to provide personalized, student centered guidance and complement the advising and support already provided across CCA.

Appointments will be available beginning Monday, February 23, and will continue on an ongoing basis. We ask that you please help share this resource with students who may benefit from additional support or who have questions about their academic plans.

As a reminder, teach-out agreements will take effect only after CCA closes at the end of the 2026–27 academic year, when it is no longer possible for students to enroll in courses at CCA. We encourage you to review the recent institutional update regarding teach-out planning and potential partner institutions to ensure consistent and accurate messaging.

Students are also encouraged to review the Transition FAQs available on the Portal, which address many common questions.

Thank you for your continued partnership in supporting our students during this transition. If you have questions about this resource or would like additional information, please feel free to contact Student Services (ask@cca.edu).
