Capital Project Requests
CCA defines capital projects as larger-scale facility improvements that involve at least one of the following:
- Significant renovation/remodeling of an existing space
- Cross-departmental impact and collaboration
- Reprogramming of a space outside of its original intention
For projects that do not meet these criteria, please submit a Facilities ticket or a HelpDesk ticket.
Capital projects must be submitted with a dean's approval and support.
Following submission, requests will be reviewed by the Campus Planning Committee and, with deans involvement, prioritized against other capital projects.
Submission Timeline
Capital projects are typically completed during summers in order to minimize impact on regularly scheduled classes. Smaller projects will occasionally be completed during winter breaks.
Requests must be submitted by January 31st to be considered for the following summer.
Capital projects request form soon forthcoming (March 2025)
