Oakland Campus Photography Project
Working as a photographic artist with deep connections to the CCA Oakland Campus, artist and former Chair of Photography Chris Johnson is undertaking a Rephotographic Survey Project, reproducing some of the historic photographs in our archives that depict beautiful points of view of the Oakland Campus.
Work from this ongoing project will be featured in the Oliver Art Center for Rooted: A Ceremony Honoring the Oakland Campus on September 24 from 4-7pm. It was previously installed in Shaklee, room A22 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm for OCLC's The Last Wednesday Night opening events across the Oakland campus.
In addition, we are working to to produce multi-faceted photographic documentation of the CCA Oakland Campus as it exists in our last year on the historic campus.
