Description:
Animation Tutorials are production workshops for advanced level animation students. Depending on the instructor, students will complete a sequence of animation exercises or one semester long project. Critiques will be conducted similar to studio dailies where the instructor gives the student production notes in order to improve their animation. Based on this assessment, it is the student's responsibility to improve their work. All advanced animation students who have completed Animation 2 are welcome.This workshop will explore different methods of stop motion animation as a technique: Found Object Animation, Claymation, Paper Animation, and Puppet Making & Acting. We will learn the basics about stop motion animation, camera, tripod, lighting, and working with the Dragonframe Animation software.
