Emphasis will be placed on basic principles of design such as balance, rhythm, contrast and harmony. This course will teach technique on how to build a clay model from the inside out; paying particular attention to the skeletal and musculature system. The goal of this class is to create unique and appealing clay-sculpted characters.Animation Tutorials are production workshops for advanced level animation students. Depending on the instructor, students will complete a sequence of animation exercises or one semester long project. Critiques will be conducted similar to studio dailies where the instructor gives the student production notes in order to improve their animation. Based on this assessment, it is the student's responsibility to improve their work. All advanced animation students who have completed Animation 2 are welcome.
