Description:
Animation Tutorials are production workshops for advanced level animation students. Depending on the instructor, students will complete a sequence of animation exercises or one semester long project. Critiques will be conducted similar to studio dailies where the instructor gives the student production notes in order to improve their animation. Based on this assessment, it is the student's responsibility to improve their work. All advanced animation students who have completed Animation 2 are welcome.Tutorial: Advanced Experimental AnimationThis tutorial is an opportunity for advanced animation students to expand their repertoire of approaches and techniques. Working alongside the Workshop: Experimental Animation, students will explore experimental animation techniques, both in it's manipulation of storytelling, and use of materials. Animations will be made in a variety of formats including digital and traditional such as watercolors, painting, clay, or found materials.
