Description:
This studio focuses on the context and site issues that come into play in architectural projects. Historical, social, economic, and cultural contexts are investigated along with physical site characteristics such as climate, solar orientation, slope, and other environmental factors. Work throughout the semester includes a focus on three-dimensional exploration and representation. Studio will integrate assignments from concurrent Structures course. Corequisite: Structures 1, Architectural Theory
