This course introduces the fundamentals of typographic communication and composition within a page. Students practice typesetting with attention to hierarchy, spacing, and grid systems across print and screen. They develop fluency in typographic form and learn to make effective, appropriate design decisions while understanding typography as a system for structuring and communicating meaning. Open to Communication Design majors.
